Japanese children just LOVE Norwegian mackerel

- Please go on exporting your good mackerel to Japan, writes a Japanese boy in a letter to the Norwegian ambassador in Tokyo. The boy also asks for passing on this message to the Norwegian fishermen.

It was after having been served a tasty meal of Norwegian mackerel recently that the 10 year old boy, enthusiastically wrote a letter meant for the fishermen - sent to the ambassador. What the boy likes the best is "shio saba", being lightly salted mackerel.

The fish loving boy also declares that mackerel from Norway is his absolute favourite fish.
The boy lives in Kusatsu, in the Gunma Prefecture from where he wants to pass on his important message: Please go on exporting your mackerel!
