Another good week for blue whiting.
Norges Sildesalglag have asked the Norwegian Fishery Department to allow for 2% water adjustment on weight regarding landings of sandeel used for fishmeal and fishoil to harmonize with EU-rules. The department has said no.
The reason for the decline is that Dansih authorities will not
comply with the EU-rules and the Norwegian Fishery Department will
therefore not change the current rules of not allowing adjustment
for water on the sandeel landings.
