Moderate for capelin at Iceland – very first catches of herring at “Buagrunnen” this season.

It has been a increase in the fishmeal indicator of 5,27 %, the factor between rapeseed-oil and fish oil, has increased from 29 to 60, which means that the effective change of the oil-indicator is 33,35 %. There will consequently be changes in the minimum prices of raw material for fishmeal and -oil purpose. The minimum prices for raw material used for fishmeal and -oil apply from 12.02.2018.

The herring has reached Træna, capelin fisheries at Iceland, and still some landings of mackerel from foreign vessels.
