New and updated version of the bidding areas and guidelines for consumption catches
There have been some catches of horse mackerel and the blue whiting fishery is coming close to an end
Six catches of horse mackerel were registered last week, four of them were caught directly and aggregated to 52 MT, while two of them, 33 MT, were penned-in. All of them were caught between Rogaland and Stadt.
The size is between 450 and 500 grams.
In addition, there has been registered 45MT as bi-catches from the North Sea.
With a volume of 19 400 MT this week, the blue whiting fishery is coming to an end.
There has been a total of 14 catches in the area west of St. Kilda and the volume of each catch has varied from 700MT to 2300 MT.
Five catches, 416 MT, have been registered from industrial trawlers in the North Sea.
The prices have continued to rise also this week.
